Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, paint, and detail aircraft
Perform painting work with minimal supervisionFollow safety and quality standards
Ensure FAA paperwork and quality requirements are met
Assist and guide other painters
Act as Lead when required
Mentor junior paint team members
Use paint sprayers, dual-action sanders, and hydraulic lifts
Maintain tools and painting equipment
Apply sealants, paint strippers, and corrosion-prevention products
Assist with aircraft movement inside hangars
Follow company paint procedures and standard practices
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Lacquers
Enamels - Epoxies
- Urethanes
- Acrylics
- Lacquers
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering documents
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of aircraft painting processes
- Ability to follow FAA and company procedures
- Good English communication skills
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience: 4+ years of paint process experience
- Industry: Aircraft/Aerospace experience preferred
- License: Valid Driver’s License required
