Duration: 48 Months Contract
Shift: 2nd Shift (4: 00 PM –2: 00 AM)
Pay Rate: Up to $30.17/hr (W2)
Work Schedule: 100% Onsite
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RS Avionics Installer II to join our aircraft completions team in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for assisting with the installation, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wire harness fabrication, wire terminations, reading wiring diagrams, and interpreting blueprints and schematics while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RS Avionics Installer II to join our aircraft completions team in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for assisting with the installation, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wire harness fabrication, wire terminations, reading wiring diagrams, and interpreting blueprints and schematics while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, modification, and fabrication of aircraft wiring and electrical components.
Fabricate wire harnesses and perform wire terminations using various connector and wiring types.
Remove and install avionics and electrical components.
Perform wiring continuity checks, ring-outs, and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.
Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Maintain accurate work logs, records, and documentation.
Ensure all work meets FAA regulations, company standards, and customer specifications.
Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.
Comply with FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and process improvement activities.
High School Diploma or GED required.
One of the following:
Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics, OR
Two (2) years of related avionics/electrical experience, OR
Avionics certificate from an accredited school plus one (1) year of related experience.
Experience with wire harness fabrication and various wire termination methods.
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer and software proficiency.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
CATIA 3D model knowledge.
Aircraft completions, modification, or manufacturing experience.
Experience working in a regulated aerospace environment.
FAA-regulated position.
No remote or hybrid work available.
No travel required.
Long-term contract opportunity supporting aircraft completions operations.
