Run Operator

JOB SUMMARY:

To maintain production of machines that are currently set-up and in production of products. Maintain speed, records and clear paper jam ups and restart machine as necessary during scheduled shift. Assist in giving team members breaks.

Position may require employee to feed while maintaining machine and acting as a First Helper (Run Operator) Position will monitor 1 machine at a time as necessary.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must know how to feed the machine.

2. Perform the Pre-operation procedure.

3. Start up, run, reset, and shut down primary machines.

4. Clear jams

5. Set up and operate the glue system.

6. General knowledge of machine operation

7. General knowledge of the control panels

8. Maintain equipment at run rate.

9. Clean glue tips

10. Perform SKU changeover.

11. Perform minor adjustments to get the machine to run condition.

12. Perform minor troubleshooting.

13. Follow our safety, quality, housekeeping, and documentation standards.

14. Capable of doing the above while feeding the machine.
