Running Vertical Business Development Internship SummerThis is a Business Development internship focused on CrewLAB's expansion into the running vertical. Working directly with Co-Founder David Kerns, you won't just learn sales in a classroom—you will run a real sales pipeline, talk to real high school and college coaches, and close real deals to bring our platform to track & field and cross country teams.Your MissionSell CrewLAB's Running Accelerator to coaches across the country, serving on the front line of our expansion into a new sports vertical.Execute full-cycle B2B sales: from prospecting and cold outreach to running live demos, handling objections, and closing paid subscriptions.The Ideal CandidateRunning Background: Deeply connected to the running community (athlete, coach, or program embedded). You understand the rhythms of a season and the language coaches use.Fearless Communicator: Comfortable picking up the phone to cold call college coaches. You can handle a "no," navigate surface-level objections, and maintain persistence without pressure.Curious & Organized: You'd rather ask a coach about their biggest headache than pitch features. Capable of self-directing and managing a pipeline of 100+ contacts without letting things slip.Education: Current student (3rd year+) or recent grad with a background in Business, Sport Management, Computer Science, or a related field.Core Focus Areas & CurriculumSales Methodology: Combine narrative learning (The Mom Test) with technical sales frameworks (The Sandler Selling System) to master qualifying, gathering honest feedback, and closing.Pipeline Building (Weeks 1-2): Learn the CrewLAB product cold, master HubSpot CRM, and build a targeted pipeline of 50+ high school and collegiate (D1-D3) coaches.Outreach & Conversations (Weeks 3-8): Execute a 5-touch outreach sequence (email and call cadences), book discovery calls, and deliver live demos.Closing & Knowledge Sharing (Weeks 9-12): Convert warm leads into active paying customers, document win/loss patterns, and deliver a "State of the Running Vertical" presentation to the team.TechnologyCRM & Project Management: HubSpot, NotionBenefits & CompensationDirect mentorship from CrewLAB Co-Founder David Kerns and exposure to an experienced sports tech startup team.Base stipend plus a performance bonus tied to pipeline outcomes (demos booked, deals closed).Access to a Pro Claude Code license.A focused learning objective to leave with highly marketable B2B sales skills.Possibility for future projects and employment upon program completion.#J-18808-Ljbffr
