Roles and Responsibilities: Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children''s progress, and to determine their priorities and resource needs. Collaborate well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategies Evaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary Appropriate DESE licensure is required Other duties assigned by the building administration
