Position: Russian Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area) Type:Contract Compensation:$50/hour Location:Remote Commitment:10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Russian, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Produce high-quality written outputs in Russian, with supporting work in English.
Develop detailed evaluation rubrics and grading guidelines in Russian and English.
Conduct model testing and grading to assess generated outputs for accuracy and fluency.
Participate in QA and review cycles to ensure tasks meet Mercor’s quality standards.
Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and improve task design.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Native or near-native fluency in Russian and professional fluency in English.
Strong familiarity with spoken Russian and regional vocabulary.
Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Preferred
College students or recent graduates.
Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.
Prior experience with transcription, annotation, or research workflows in Russian.
Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
