Above all, we value Safety, Customer Service, Continuous Learning, Respect, and Value Creation.The Safety and Compliance Manager supports the Director of EHS in promoting and maintaining a consistent, companywide safety culture aligned with corporate values and regulatory requirements. This role assists with the development, implementation, and oversight of safety programs, training, and compliance systems, including employee qualifications, driver compliance, and customer-specific requirements. Daily activities focus on accident review, training coordination, regulatory adherence, and collaboration with operations, safety team members, and leadership to reduce risk and improve safety performance.This role supports and enforces a company-wide culture of safety and accountability while ensuring strict adherence to DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and PHMSA regulations. This position is based in Oklahoma City; however, you can live in Dallas, TX or Wichita, KS.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of EHS in maintaining and promoting a consistent, companywide safety culture aligned with corporate values, teamwork, and individual accountabilitySupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety manuals, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirementsParticipate in the review, investigation, and documentation of accidents, near-misses, injuries, and losses; identify root causes and assist in implementing corrective and preventative actionsAssist in maintaining the corporate safety library, including training materials, videos, SDSs, and regulatory referencesManage and maintain company compliance within ISNetworld, Veriforce, and other customer-required safety platformsEnsure all customer-specific training, documentation, certifications, and safety metrics are accurate, current, and submitted on timeCoordinate with operations, safety team members, and leadership to close compliance gaps and respond to customer audit findingsTrack employee qualifications, training completions, certifications, and equipment compliance required by customers and third-party systemsTrack and manage employee safety training requirements for company, regulatory, vendor, and customer standardsAssist in planning monthly safety training topics at least one year in advance and conduct train-the-trainer sessions with branch leadershipJob RequirementsRequired QualificationsProven experience developing, coordinating, and delivering safety training across all organizational levelsHands‑on experience with ISNetworld, Veriforce, and customer compliance management systemsPractical experience with OSHA, DOT, EPA, MSHA, Workers' Compensation, SDSs, and JSAsExperience reviewing incidents, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actionsMust have experience working with Learning Management systemsPreferred QualificationsStrong working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and MSHA regulations and compliance requirementsDemonstrated experience managing customer compliance platforms, particularly ISNetworld and VeriforceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including reporting, data analysis, and presentation developmentStrong analytical and statistical skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with employees, managers, customers, and external agenciesAbility to influence and coach others without direct authorityWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsPhysical demands with activity or conditions existing a small amount of time include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stoopingNormal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with evening and weekend work required as job duties demandAbility to crawl up and down ladders multiple times per hour to facilitate location auditsFacility inspections will require being on top of tanksCompensation & BenefitsFull-time, exempt position with competitive salaryBenefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidaysCompany support for continuing education and certification where applicableCandidates will be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.#J-18808-Ljbffr
