Safety and Security Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Safety and Security Coordinator that facilitates safety and security measures; a safe environment for students, staff, and community in and around the building; and evaluates district safety & security procedures and practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 20 years of expertise in law enforcement
• Expertise in security and crisis management strategies
• Experience and practice in search and seizure laws as they relate to public schools
• Possession of current New Jersey Officer Registration Act (SORA) certification preferred
• Possession of current retired law enforcement permit to carry a handgun
• Exemplary Technology Skills
• Ability to positively interact with students, parents, and colleagues

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $63,000
