Description
Now Hiring: Safety Trainer
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Safety Trainer to join a growing food manufacturing team.
This role is responsible for developing and delivering safety training programs, supporting compliance initiatives, and helping maintain a safe, productive, and compliant work environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing safety training
Train employees on OSHA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, forklift safety, sanitation procedures, fall protection, MEWP training, confined space, electrical safety, and Arc Flash
Lead safety meetings and refresher training sessions
Maintain training records and compliance documentation
Perform safety audits and identify workplace hazards
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
Support accident prevention and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with HR, Quality, Production, and Leadership teams to strengthen safety programs
Qualifications:
Manufacturing or food production experience preferred
Previous safety training and leadership experience required
Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to conduct hands-on and classroom-based training
Experience supporting multi-site operations is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 Certification
HACCP Certification
Forklift Trainer Certification
First Aid/CPR Certification
