Safety & Compliance Manager

Mahal Bros Transport is a fast-growing produce carrier operating across all 48 states. We’re looking for a hands-on Safety & Compliance Manager who can take ownership of our safety program, protect our CSA score, and keep our operation running clean and compliant.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows DOT/FMCSA inside and out and isn’t afraid to hold drivers and staff accountable.

What You’ll Do

• Own and manage all DOT/FMCSA compliance
• Monitor CSA scores, inspections, and violations
• Oversee ELDs, logbooks, and Hours of Service
• Hire, onboard, and manage drivers
• Investigate accidents, claims, and handle disputes
• Prepare for and manage DOT audits
• Oversee fleet safety and maintenance compliance
• Track fuel usage and identify inefficiencies
• Lead safety meetings and conduct regular safety training for drivers and shop staff
• Review driver performance (monthly/quarterly) and enforce accountability

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in trucking safety & compliance
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Experience managing CSA scores, audits, and violations
• Leadership mindset – not afraid to enforce standards
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Class A license is preferred.
