Job Summary:
Works closely with the EHS Managers to conduct facility inspections and audit safety programs. Systematically recognizes and records health, safety, and environmental hazards at all facilities.
Contributes to environmental reports and regulatory programs including SPCC, RCRA, and SWPPP. Maintains records of air emissions. Ensures compliance with permit conditions through regular inspection and corrective action.
Develops and implements solutions to compliance gaps in accordance with OSHA, DEQ, EPA, DOT, NFPA local, state and federal regulations through collaboration with other departments and teams.
Coordinates and facilitates environmental, health, and safety training. Develops new training materials as needed.
Maintains environmental, health, and safety records as dictated by law and internal policies. Maintains and updates company policies and written programs related to environmental health and safety topics.

This position requires sitting for long periods of time. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. The ability to walk continuously through manufacturing and warehouse facilities for up to 3 miles is required. Ability to climb up and down a ladder or use steps required. Ability to wear PPE required.

Supports Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Managers by implementing, maintaining, and evaluating environmental, health, and safety programs across AAON facilities. Conducts inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, documents findings, and supports corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Contributes to environmental reporting, training coordination, and recordkeeping while promoting a strong corporate safety culture through collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Education and Experience Requirements:Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field; 3+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety compliance, auditing, or program administration, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
