Safety Coordinator
Qualifications
- Industrial safety experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards.
- High School Diploma required with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Certifications or degree preferred: OSHT, CSHT, CSP, ASP, SSH, or CSHO.
- Ability to read and write in English required.
- Must be bilingual.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and revise company safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
- Advise management on safety compliance concerns and preventative measures.
- Conduct employee safety training, awareness, and compliance programs.
- Maintain safety documentation and OSHA 300 injury logs.
- Prepare reports with corrective and preventative action recommendations.
- Conduct accident investigations and determine root causes.
- Monitor workplace safety practices and enforce company safety rules.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management or Human Resources.
Authority
- Conduct in-house safety and compliance training.
- Enforce company safety policies and discipline employees for safety violations as necessary
Pay: - $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
