We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team as Safety Coordinator.
Things You’ll Do
- Attend field job sites and review/monitor/safety compliance
- Get to know the workforce and build a relationship of trust
- Perform safety inspections of company facilities, production plants, and equipment, then follow up with stakeholders on findings
- Conduct safety trainings and attend site safety meetings
- Analyze and report on incident trends and functions as the safety expert on all safety related issues
- Ensure compliance with and administers OSHA, MSHA and USDOT regulations.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- 3+ years of safety management experience
- The ability to establish trusting and partnered relationships with all people
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration
- An insurable driving record
- Bachelor’s Degree, safety-related is preferred but not required
