Construction Safety Coordinator Location: Cedar Creek, TX Duration: 2 Years (Start: 10/26) Type: 1099 ContractorCompensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $54/hr Per Diem: None Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday-Saturday | 10 to 12 Hour Shifts Additional Schedule Details: Potential Sunday work and rotating Saturdays as needed. Candidates should be prepared to support extended schedules throughout the life of the project.Why This Opportunity?Join a contractor supporting a large-scale data center construction project in Cedar Creek, TX. This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight across multiple project scopes, including a pre-fabrication facility manufacturing interior and exterior metal-framed wall panels, self-performed drywall installation, and ongoing mission-critical construction activities.The Construction Safety Coordinator will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with fabrication personnel, drywall crews, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of manufacturing operations, interior systems installation, civil construction activities, and data center construction work.Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification OSHA 510 Certification Minimum 2+ Years of Construction Safety Experience Current First Aid/CPR CertificationPreferred Qualifications Data Center Construction Experience Prefabrication or Manufacturing Safety Experience Excavation and Civil Construction Experience Drywall or Interior Systems Construction Experience CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential Contractor Safety Management ExperienceWhat You'll Be DoingProvide daily field safety oversight for data center construction and prefabrication operationsMaintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas and manufacturing environmentsConduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessmentsMonitor wall panel fabrication activities, drywall installation operations, excavation work, and civil construction activitiesReview Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plansEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirementsIdentify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actionsProvide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnelCoordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, subcontractors, and fabrication teamsParticipate in incident investigations and corrective action implementationMaintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reportsPromote a proactive safety culture throughout the projectTechnical KnowledgeCandidates should have working knowledge of:OSHA Construction StandardsData Center Construction SafetyPrefabrication & Manufacturing OperationsMetal Framing and Panel Fabrication ActivitiesDrywall Installation SafetyExcavation & Civil Construction SafetyMaterial Handling OperationsPowered Industrial EquipmentFall Protection & Elevated WorkJob Hazard Analysis (JHA)Incident Investigation & Corrective ActionsContractor Safety ManagementConstruction Risk Assessment & MitigationWhat Success Looks LikeThe ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused safety professional with experience supporting both manufacturing and construction environments.Success in this role requires maintaining a strong field presence, proactively identifying hazards, effectively communicating with craft personnel and supervision, and ensuring prefabrication, drywall installation, excavation, civil construction, and data center activities are executed safely while supporting overall project productivity, quality, and schedule objectives.Apply TodayQualified candidates should submit a resume for immediate review.Please ensure your resume clearly reflects experience directly related to the project's scope of work, including the specific trades, activities, and project types you have supported.
