Job Details

Full-time, on-site construction safety role supporting an active underground utility project
Spend your days in the field supporting crews across excavation, trenching, and utility installation operations
Assist with and help lead daily safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and tailboard talks
Conduct jobsite safety walks and inspections, identifying hazards before they become incidents
Actively support and reinforce PPE compliance and safe work practices in real time
Partner with supervisors and crews to build trust and drive a strong safety culture on site
Participate in incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis—learn how problems are solved in the field
Assist with new hire orientations and ongoing safety training for field personnel
Monitor dynamic jobsite conditions including weather, wildfire smoke, excavation risks, and energized work zones
Be present during critical operations—you’ll see how safety integrates into high-risk construction work
Support emergency preparedness and response efforts on an active jobsite
Work outdoors in a true construction environment—uneven terrain, changing conditions, and active equipment
Project runs approximately June 2026 – February 2027, giving you meaningful, resume-building project experience
This is a boots-on-the-ground role—ideal for someone who wants to learn fast, stay active, and be part of the action
