Our client is an industry leader in weatherproofing solutions that is looking to add a temporary safety coordinator to its team while the coordinator is out on maternity leave. This position is responsible for maintaining a strong workplace safety culture by conducting employee safety training, performing audits and inspections, managing safety programs and documentation, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
* Promote and support a safety culture with all manufacturing team members.
* Conduct safety orientation with new employees.
* Perform weekly audits and monthly safety training
* Maintain and order safety supplies as required
* Must have previous experience as a safety professional in a manufacturing facility
* Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations
* Must know how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
* Must be able to provide safety training in a group setting to new team additions
