About the Role:
Blount Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and programs across all job sites
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for field personnel
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local codes, and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and incident logs
• Collaborate with project managers and site superintendents to promote a strong safety culture
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety requirements on all projects

Requirements:

• 2+ years of safety coordination or related experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 30-Hour Construction standards and regulations, preferred
• Proven ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and influence field crews
• Proficient in maintaining safety documentation and preparing compliance reports
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel between active job sites
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to fostering a safety-first culture
• Bilingual, preferred
