    Role Description The Safety Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for overseeing and promoting health and safety standards across project sites and operations. This role includes conducting regular safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment. The Safety Coordinator will develop and deliver safety training, maintain safety documentation and incident reports, and support compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating accident investigations, tracking safety performance metrics, and partnering with project managers and field teams to embed safety practices into planning and execution.

    Qualifications

    • Strong foundation in Health & Safety and Occupational Health to manage safety programs and workplace risk.
    • \n
    • Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) frameworks, including regulatory compliance and site-specific safety planning.
    • \n
    • Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training for diverse teams, including field and operations staff.
    • \n
    • Proficiency in Accident Investigation, root-cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
    • \n
    • Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety standards, preferably within construction, design-build, or outdoor environments.
    • \n
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence safety culture on-site.
    • \n
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
    • \n
    • Relevant certification (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST) and prior experience in a safety-focused role are highly beneficial.
