Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and training sessions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in safety management.
• Assist in the development of safety-related communication materials for employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
