A bit about us:We are a well-established, privately held industrial mechanical, fabrication, and construction organization with nearly 80 years of history. Our teams support complex customer environments across manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, energy, and other industrial markets.
Safety is an integral part of how we operate. Because our employees work across multiple customer facilities and project sites, our safety professionals gain exposure that is difficult to replicate in a single-facility environment.
We are adding a Safety Coordinator to our Southwest Michigan team and are particularly interested in an early-career professional who wants hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to grow into meaningful ownership of the safety function.
Why join us?Fantastic early-career opportunity: Gain hands-on safety experience across multiple industrial and construction environments.
Real mentorship: Receive a full week of dedicated onboarding with the Safety Director and two experienced Safety Coordinators.
Not sink-or-swim: Ongoing support from Safety Coordinators, Group Managers, Foremen, and leadership as you develop.
Broad safety exposure: Work with OSHA compliance, JSAs, hazard plans, inspections, training, investigations, corrective actions, and site-specific safety programs.
Career runway: Develop from a supported Safety Coordinator into someone trusted to independently own project and site safety responsibilities.
Strong total compensation: $60K–$70K base plus $450/month auto allowance, fuel card for applicable business travel, company phone, and strong benefits.
Stable organization: Join an established company with decades of history and continued growth.
Great culture: Collaborative, easygoing, field-oriented team that values relationships and practical problem-solving.
