Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership: Lead safety training, toolbox talks, new hire onboarding, and ongoing safety education for employees across all departments.
  • Multi-Site Oversight: Travel to and inspect safety standards across regional showrooms, slab yards, fabrication facilities, and residential/commercial installation sites.
  • Lead Strategy: Develop and implement safety initiatives tailored to stone fabrication, bridge saws, CNC machinery, heavy slab handling, and installation operations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with OSHA standards, with a strong focus on respirable crystalline silica exposure, dust mitigation, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct routine safety audits of industrial equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, slab storage systems, and fabrication processes.
  • PPE & Fleet Oversight: Enforce PPE compliance and ensure safety standards are maintained for company vehicles, delivery operations, and field installation crews.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause investigations for workplace incidents, document findings, implement corrective actions, and manage workers' compensation tracking.
  • Safety Communication: Develop clear safety procedures, policies, and training materials that support an inclusive and safety-focused workplace.

Required Qualifications

  • Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally to monitor company facilities and active field installation sites.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience: Five (5) or more years of safety management experience in stone fabrication, heavy manufacturing, construction, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, heavy material handling, crane and forklift operations, industrial ventilation systems, and workplace hazard mitigation.
  • Certifications: CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent safety certification preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): True ownership in the company and a direct stake in our shared success.
  • Competitive salary based on experience, plus travel expense reimbursement.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company matching.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Professional development and continuing education opportunities.
