Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking Safety (EMT) & Security Specialists to join our team on the Day shift.

Starting pay: $19.50/hr (must have current EMT Certification)

The Safety (EMT) & Security Specialist will be responsible for providing security for Lifetime Products employees, property and facilities. Candidates will be responsible for consulting with all levels of supervision in order to assist with establishing and maintaining the highest degree of security possible for all Lifetime Products interests. The Safety (EMT) & Security Specialist will also administer lifesaving care to sick and injured people in pre-hospital settings as authorized. Communication skills are key as this candidate would be responsible for consulting with all levels of supervision in order to assist in compliance with Federal, State, and local safety and environmental standards and regulations to include those initiated by Lifetime Products. If you are self-motivated, proactive, able to work with little or no supervision, dependable, and able to make own decisions based on information provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Security Specialist include the following (Other duties may be assigned): Respond to employee calls to lock and/or unlock doors, offices, etc.; Perform building walk through checks in order to ensure building security and to identify security issues such as broken locks, doors, windows, fire hazards, vandalism, etc.; Perform vehicle patrols of Lifetime Products facilities to prevent/deter theft, vandalism, etc. Respond to, investigate, and report acts of facility damage, theft, altercations, etc.; Patrol parking lots and assist with resolving parking issues; Perform data entry for security related computer databases; Create and issue employee identification badges; and Duties and responsibilities may change to fit department demands and employees must be able to adapt to the required changes.

Safety Specialist (EMT) duties include the following:

    • Assess the nature and extent on injury or illness to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or the need for additional assistance.
    • Provide emergency medical care and life saving techniques in accordance with Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) laws and regulations.
    • Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies during an emergency.
    • Performs data entry to develop, use, and maintain databases. Ensure accuracy of reports and database entries.
    • Ensure that the notification of emergencies are reported to area management in a timely manner.
    • Able to identify, report, and avoid unsafe working conditions
    • Provide feedback to department manager on solutions to workplace hazards.
    • Comply with Lifetime Product's policies prohibiting unlawful discrimination and harassment
    • Engages team in lean manufacturing (Kaizens, work systems, visual, 5s, and other trainings).
    • Communicates effectively, including, without limitation, training and coaching others as needed.
    • Willingness to accept direction and coaching from others.
    • Ability to work in a cooperative and respectful manner with others.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must have a current Utah State EMT certification.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
    • Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
    • Valid Utah State Driver's License and clean MVR.
    • Overtime Flexibility for covering other shifts and Saturday's will be required.
    • Pass background and drug screening.
