ResponsibilitiesProvide global safety agency support across product development and sustaining programsPerform high-voltage design checks to ensure compliance with applicable safety standardsLead and manage safety certification submissions including UL, TÜV, FCC, and other regional approvalsAct as technical interface with certification agencies and accredited laboratoriesInterpret and apply international safety standards, including IEC 60664-1 (insulation coordination)Conduct safety compliance evaluations including:Creepage and clearance verificationDielectric withstand and electrical spacing reviewCollaborate with R&D teams to integrate safety requirements early in product designSupport certification testing activities at internal and external test laboratoriesMonitor latest IEC safety standards and communicate updates to engineering teamsMaintain certification documentation, compliance reports, and technical filesSupport global manufacturing sites and customer technical discussions related to safety complianceTravel domestically and internationally as part of normal job responsibilities to support certificationTesting, manufacturing coordination, and customer technical activitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline3–5 years of experience in product safety, certification, or compliance engineeringExperience working with UL or equivalent safety certification agencies preferredExperience with high-power or high-voltage productsStrong understanding of high-voltage design requirements and electrical safety fundamentalsKnowledge of IEC 60664-1 and insulation coordination principlesExperience preparing or supporting safety certification submissionsHands‑on experience working with or supporting product test laboratoriesFamiliarity with CAD software for engineering design reviewAbility to independently review and verify high-voltage product designsPreferred QualificationsExperience in connector, EV power, power distribution, or data center applicationsStrong teamwork mindset and cross-functional collaboration skillsGood technical documentation and communication capabilityFoxconn Interconnect Technology, Inc.
