Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Safety Engineer to develop and implement a Process Safety Management (PSM) and OSHA system. You will take the lead in constructing new standards for equipment safety, risk assessment methodologies, and permit-to-work processes. Key responsibilities include building a data-driven framework for damage prediction and improvement tracking, as well as establishing a holistic occupational health infrastructure that integrates job fitness evaluations and on-site clinic operations into a unified safety ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety integrity reviews and validate safety systems to ensure operational reliability.
• Establish comprehensive standards for equipment and facility fabrication, risk management, and safety maintenance.
• Lead risk assessment initiatives, including damage prediction modeling and monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Manage the lifecycle of safety permits and licenses, including document preparation, regulatory filings, and government audit coordination.
• Develop and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) reports and operating standards for the 14 core PSM elements.
• Administer occupational health programs, including job fitness evaluations and medical suitability assessments.
• Supervise the operational efficiency and compliance of the on-site occupational health clinic.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in EHS management with at least 1 years focused on Safety systems, permitting, and design review in U.S. industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a multicultural or international environment.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools or software.
• Experience in managing EHS systems and coordinating with authorities/AHJ.
• CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or PE (Professional Engineer) license highly preferred.
