SALARY RANGE: $24.00-$26.00 per hour. The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Safety and Loss Preventions Department in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with a safe and secure environment throughout their stay, and for protecting resort guests, team members, and the physical property of the company.
Essential Functions

- Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
- Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Focuses on Unifocus guest scores and ensures the feedback is communicated to the staff and integrated into daily line up meetings and on-going training.
- Review Activity Reports of all security shifts daily.
- Review incident reports and ensure that they are written in a clear and concise manner.
- Efficiently relay all information involved in emergency situations to designated management.
- Assist outside agencies with all communication needs.
- Assist in supervising and reviewing investigations.
- Be an active member of the Safety Committee.
- Assist Director of Safety and Loss Prevention with Workers comp related matters.
- Monitor and assist with procedures for Lost and Found items.
- Ensure that property patrols are regularly conducted, maintaining Security visibility and logging safety and security issues.
- Know and ensure compliance with the Loss Prevention processes.
- Assist in Loss Prevention and Safety Trainings.
- Maintain the Emergency response Kit.
- Assist the Human Resources Department with conducting quarterly locker room audits.
- Assist in preparing and conducting interviews and follow hiring procedures.
- Review Security staff's worked hours for payroll compilation and submit to Accounting on a timely basis.
- Assist in preparing employee Schedule according to business forecast, payroll budget guidelines and productivity requirements.
- Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, team members and other departments.
- Establish and maintain key control system.
- Maintain required pars of all safety office and stationary supplies.
- Perform guest and team members escorts as required.
- Conduct bag and package inspections.
- Conduct daily key audits and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Assist with guest requests and guestroom entries while maintaining proper security and guest privacy.
- Review Security logbook and Guest Request log on a daily basis.
- Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a resort or a related field.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Valid drivers license is a must.
- Must be 18 to operate a golf cart.
Work Conditions and Schedule
- Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with work schedule.
- The scope of the position may sometimes require a work week over 40 hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to climb stairs, descend stairs and run.
- On occasion must physically deter individuals who pose a threat to guests and/or employees.
- This role requires operating a golf cart and a company owed vehicle.
