Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes.
- Create and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with management to investigate and resolve safety incidents and near misses.
- Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Evaluate new equipment and processes for potential safety hazards.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in workplace safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence positive change.
- Experience conducting safety training and developing safety programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
