Hours: 6:45 AM-3:00 PM
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Potential Saturdays)

Project Scope

The Safety Manager will oversee construction-related activities taking place on the 18th floor of the North Market Towers, specifically within the Equipment Room area. This short-term project requires a strong field presence to monitor active work, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and support safe execution of tasks in a vertical construction environment.

The role will focus on real-time safety oversight, hazard identification, and coordination with on-site crews and supervision. The Safety Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment in a high-rise setting, addressing risks associated with elevated work areas, equipment use, and trade coordination.

Qualifications

OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification
Minimum of 3 years of construction safety experience
Experience supporting active job sites in a field-based safety role

Additional Requirements

Ability to work at height in a high-rise construction environment
Strong communication skills with field crews and supervision
Ability to enforce safety standards and address unsafe conditions
Reliable transportation to the job site

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and monitor work activities on the 18th floor equipment room area
  • Enforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements
  • Conduct job site safety observations and hazard assessments
  • Address unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work when necessary
  • Coordinate with supervisors and crews to maintain compliance
  • Document safety observations, issues, and corrective actions
  • Support overall site safety efforts during the project duration
