Job Description
The Safety Manager will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform the role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. These are not the exhaustive job duties, but rather a general overview of essential duties.
- Promotes the Company's IIF Culture by being a safety resource on the project site
- Assists in project compliance with all Safety rules and regulations
- Conducts jobsite case management
- Oversees the work of direct reports, and assist with their development
- Ensures a safe work environment
- Participates in trainings / continual learning, and obtain relevant certifications as necessary
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Occupational Safety, or related field of study
- 4+ years in a Concrete-focused safety role
- Minimum of a certificate in a related field, or construction experience with OSHA 500 training certification.
- Additional certifications and training helpful
- Onsite position - travel may be required if residence is not local to site area
