Safety Manager

This position is responsible for the execution of facility safety protocols. The EHS Safety Manager is responsible for continuously monitoring and adapting safety procedures and operations to ensure that all employees work in a safe and fully compliant work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

• Leads alongside Production and HR protocols while maintaining team leadership
• Champions the communication and the Company's culture at all levels of the manufacturing facility.
• Provides information to Production Manager regarding compliance with Federal and State OSHA regulations
• Complies, analyzes, and interprets statistical date, prepares reports for daily, weekly, and monthly safety activities
• Responsible for daily collection and recording of OSHA check lists for Company's machinery
• Responsible for assisting of the Alchemy Training for facility.
• Carrying out safety risks assessments prior to starting a new project
• Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety standards
• Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches
• Staying up to date with health, safety, and environment regulations for Company's operations.
• Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors
• Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness
• Tracking incident metrics and applying findings
• Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent on the job training experience, industrial experience is required
• In -Depth and updated Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA and applicable regulatory agencies.

EXPERIENCE

• 10 years of safety environmental experience
• 5 years of manufacturing experience plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English)

Monday- Friday 7AM-5PM (Weekend Availability)
