We’re searching for a talented and driven Safety Manager to join our team!

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Coordinate with General Contractor (GC) and/or site owner regarding general site conditions and Non-Compliance Notices (NCN)
  • Participate in meetings with customers, project teams, and contractors/subcontractors to discuss mitigation plans, safety & health (S&H) training, and technical reports
  • Develop and implement Accident Prevention Programs (APP) and training plans to meet project safety specifications and requirements
  • Identify site safety budget, manage safe work permits, and ensure compliance with project contracts, plans, and specifications
  • Lead the Operational Risk Management (ORM) team to review, interpret, and develop project safety plans aligned with client, Program Manager, and GC requirements
  • Conduct timely incident investigations and reporting
  • Directly supervise 7–10 employees

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • 7–9 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
    10–12 years with an Associate’s degree (ABET accredited program), or
    3–5 years with a Master’s degree in Safety and Health / Occupational Safety
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) required; Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
  • OSHA 500 certification required
  • Extensive knowledge of safety and health standards, regulations, and project application
  • Experience in electrical, construction, industrial, federal, and commercial safety & health
  • Skilled in safe work practices, accident investigations, OSHA and DOT compliance, insurance audits, workers’ compensation, and health surveys
  • Proficient in developing and delivering safety and health training programs
  • Experienced in creating Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), emergency evacuation, and first aid plans
  • Familiarity with SafetyNet (Predictive Solutions) and Project Management Office (PMO) tools
  • Experienced with Zero Incident Techniques (ZITS)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint
