Safety ManagerThis organization is a large, well-respected general contractor delivering complex new construction and renovation projects across commercial, government, institutional, and mission-critical sectors. The Safety Manager will join a mature safety organization and work closely with leadership to elevate safety performance across the portfolio, making the Safety Manager role both visible and impactful.The Safety Manager is responsible for supporting and enforcing safety programs across one or multiple active construction sites. Key responsibilities include:Implementing and maintaining site-specific safety programs in active construction environmentsEnsuring compliance with OSHA standards, USACE EM 385-1-1, and company safety policiesConducting safety orientations, trainings, audits, and incident investigationsPartnering with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate safety risksSupporting projects ranging from $20M+ in valueRoving between multiple sites or serving full-time on a single project, depending on needThe Safety Manager works closely with project leadership and reports into senior safety directors who oversee corporate safety strategy and daily execution.
