Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across multiple construction projects. In this role, you will develop and implement site-specific safety plans, conduct jobsite audits, provide training and guidance, and partner with project teams to create a proactive safety culture. Your focus will be on preventing incidents through planning, education, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and manage site-specific safety plans for multiple construction projects.
Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits, ensuring hazards are addressed promptly.
Partner with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain compliance with company safety standards.
Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and communicate lessons learned.
Represent the company during OSHA inspections and regulatory visits.
Track safety performance, analyze trends, and recommend improvements.
Prepare monthly safety reports and maintain accurate safety documentation.
Support and mentor Site Safety Coordinators.
Provide safety training, coaching, and guidance to project teams.
Promote a positive, company-wide culture focused on safety and accountability.
What You Must Have
7+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in commercial or data center construction.
BCSP certification (CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, SMS, or STS-C).
OSHA 30 certification and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and construction safety practices.
Experience with fall protection, confined spaces, excavation, scaffolding, cranes, rigging, lockout/tagout (LOTO), heavy equipment, hazardous materials, and other construction safety programs.
Experience with Procore or similar safety management software is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze safety data and implement practical solutions.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.
