Safety Manager - Government - MD/DC
The Safety Manager - Government - MD/DC will be responsible for:
- Leading and implementing company-wide and project-specific safety programmes.
- Conducting routine site inspections and safety audits.
- Identifying hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Investigating incidents and maintain detailed records.
- Delivering safety orientation and ongoing training programmes.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partnering with field leadership and subcontractors to improve job site safety performance.
- Participating in project planning and risk mitigation initiatives.

The Safety Manager - Government - MD/DC should have:
- 8+ years of safety experience within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and industry best practices
- Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Ability to build relationships with both field and office personnel
- Experience delivering safety training and developing safety programs
- Familiarity with construction management software and reporting systems
- OSHA 30 certification required
- OSHA 500, CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or other safety certifications preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
The Safety Manager - Government - MD/DC may receive:
- Competitive base salary up to $150k+ (depending on previous experience)
