Construction Safety Manager Location: Green Bay, WI Start Date: ASAP Type: Direct Hire W2Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Annually Company Vehicle: Provided Benefits: Full Benefits Package Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | Approximately 40 Hours Per WeekWhy This Opportunity?Join a specialty contractor supporting commercial flooring, commercial glass, walls & ceilings, doors, hardware & specialties, millwork, FF&E, and national retail fixture installation projects throughout the region.The Construction Safety Manager will oversee company safety programs, support project teams and field personnel, conduct audits and inspections, lead training initiatives, and ensure compliance across multiple active jobsites.Required Qualifications OSHA 500 Certification OSHA 30 Construction Certification Minimum 2+ Years of Construction Safety Experience Experience Conducting Jobsite Inspections, Audits, and Safety Observations Strong Knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards Ability to Travel Daily to Active Construction SitesPreferred Qualifications Commercial Interiors Construction Experience Specialty Contractor Safety Experience Retail Construction Experience CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential Experience Developing Safety Programs and ProceduresWhat You'll Be DoingAssist and educate employees on proper safety practices, including new hire safety orientationsProvide detailed written reports documenting jobsite visits and observationsDefine and document safety processes and procedures to improve departmental efficiencyCreate site-specific safety plans in partnership with Project ManagersManage electronic tracking of employee safety training recordsInvestigate accidents and incidents alongside General Contractors and project teamsAssist with documentation related to injured workers and return-to-work programsAttend safety meetings with General Contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholdersMotivate and develop safety awareness throughout the organizationPartner with project management to address hazardous conditions and safety concernsDevelop and execute health and safety plans in accordance with regulatory requirementsConduct OSHA-related safety training when appropriateStay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practicesPerform routine jobsite audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risksSupport behavior-based safety initiatives and workforce engagement programsVerify employees maintain required training and certifications for assigned workTravel to multiple jobsites and occasional overnight assignments as requiredTechnical KnowledgeCandidates should have working knowledge of:OSHA Construction StandardsCommercial Construction SafetyWalls & Ceilings ConstructionCommercial Flooring InstallationCommercial Glass InstallationDoors, Hardware & Specialties InstallationMillwork & FF&E InstallationRetail Fixture Installation ProjectsJobsite Audits & Compliance InspectionsSafety Training & Orientation ProgramsIncident Investigation & Corrective ActionsBehavior-Based Safety ProgramsConstruction Risk Assessment & MitigationWhat Success Looks LikeThe ideal candidate is a field-focused safety professional who enjoys partnering with project teams, developing employees, and supporting multiple specialty construction operations.Success in this role requires maintaining a strong field presence, proactively identifying hazards, delivering effective training, supporting project teams, and helping ensure safe execution across a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects.Apply TodayQualified candidates should submit a resume for immediate review.Please ensure your resume clearly reflects experience with commercial construction, walls & ceilings, flooring, glass, millwork, FF&E, retail fixture installation, OSHA compliance, safety training, jobsite audits, incident investigations, and field safety management.Interviews are actively being scheduled for qualified candidates.
