Type: 1099 Contractor with Opportunity for Full-Time W2 Employment
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Rate: $49/hr
️ Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours
Per Diem: $65/Day (7 Days Per Week) + Lodging Provided by Client
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40-50 Hours Per Week | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturdays as Needed

This position also offers the potential to transition into a full-time W2 role upon successful project completion.
Required Qualifications
OSHA 30 Certification
5+ years of construction safety management experience
Preferred Qualifications
NABCEP Certification (PV Associate, PV Installer, or higher)
Solar construction experience
Renewable energy project experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee daily safety activities for solar construction operations
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Support and enforce fall protection programs and site-specific safety procedures
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Monitor equipment operations, material handling activities, and field work practices
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project
