Schedule

Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Possible Saturdays during peak periods)
Shift: Day Shift

Project Scope

This position supports the installation of overhead fire protection piping on an active construction project in Lexington, KY. The Safety Professional will be responsible for maintaining a strong safety presence in the field and ensuring work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety plans.

The role is highly field-focused and requires continuous interaction with crews, supervisors, and subcontractors. The Safety Professional will monitor daily activities, identify potential hazards, and support corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant jobsite throughout the duration of the project.

Qualifications

OSHA 510 Certification
Minimum of 3+ years of construction safety experience
Experience supporting active field construction environments

Additional Requirements

Ability to work in a highly visible, field-based role
Willingness to work possible Saturdays during peak project periods
Strong communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily field safety observations and inspections
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Support incident reporting and follow-up investigations
  • Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
