Our client is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead safety strategy, compliance, and culture across a high‑volume, USDA‑regulated food manufacturing environment. This role drives proactive risk reduction, regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement to protect every associate.

Responsibilities:
\n
\n
Lead Safety Culture across plant operations through coaching, accountability, and visible engagement.
\n
Ensure OSHA/USDA Compliance with audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
\n
Manage Risk Programs including hazard assessments, ergonomics, incident investigations, and JSA.
\n
Deliver Training for LOTO, PPE, RTE, emergency response, and frontline/leadership development.
\n
Drive Continuous Improvement to strengthen safety KPIs and reduce operational risk.
\n
Own Safety Metrics with data analysis, reporting, and trend‑based action plans.
\n
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
\n
7–10+ years of safety leadership in food manufacturing or USDA‑regulated operations.
\n
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, HACCP, GMP, RTE.
\n
Proven ability to influence at all levels and lead safety in fast‑paced production environments.
\n
CSP/ASP/CHMM preferred.
\n
