Part-time / Substitute Hourly Position

Randolph Township Schools is a high performing (PreK - 12) school district located in Morris County, New Jersey. We educate 4,300 students in our four (4) elementary schools, middle school, and high school. Our District is currently accepting applications for Safety Officers. These are part-time / substitute, hourly positions. Safety Officers provide for the safety and welfare of students, teachers, and staff during classroom and non-classroom activities, minimizing the frequency and/or severity of harmful incidents; and communicating observations and/or incidents that have a potential impact on the general well-being of students, school personnel, and/or visitors.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Driver's License
• Prior law enforcement and/or military experience
• Good communication skills
• SORA Red/RPO certification
• Permit to carry a handgun

Duties:

• Per the attached job description.

Compensation:

• $26.00 per hour

Benefits:

• This part-time position is not eligible for medical or dental benefits.
• Payment for earned sick leave in accordance with the NJ Earned Sick Leave Law.
