Position: School Security Personnel - Armed

Start Date: ASAP

Regional School District No. 20 is seeking qualified applicants for a School Security Personnel - Armed, effective immediately.

This is a 10-month school year, 40 hours per week position with full benefit package.

The School Security Personnel is responsible for monitoring the safety of the students, staff, and visitors using the school building/facilities.

Qualifications: Must be or have been a qualified Law Enforcement Officer under LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) and have served as a law enforcement officer for an aggregate of 10 years or more. During the most recent 12month period, has met, at the expense of the individual, the standards for qualification in firearms training for active Law Enforcement Officers. Must not be prohibited by federal or state law from receiving a firearm.

Hourly Rate: $26.91 for the first six months, $28.32 after six months
