Litchfield Center School Position: School Security Personnel - Armed StartDate: ASAP Regional School District No. 20 We are seeking qualified applicants for a School Security Personnel - Armed effective immediately. This is a 10-month school year, 40 hours per week position with full benefit package.
The School Security Personnel is responsible for monitoring the safety of the students, staff, and visitors using the school building and facilities.
Qualifications Must be or have been a qualified Law Enforcement Officer under LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) and have served as a law enforcement officer for an aggregate of 10 years or more. During the most recent 12-month period, must meet the standards for qualification in firearm training for active Law Enforcement Officers.
Must not be prohibited by federal or state law from receiving a firearm.
Salary & Benefits Per the Region: $20 AFSCM (Negotiated Agreement)
