Job Description:
Greenwich Public Schools seeks a full-time (40 hours/week, school year) security guard to serve as a member of the security personnel team at Greenwich High School. Security personnel provide services on the Greenwich High School campus related to safety, security, crime prevention, fire safety, first aid, parking, and traffic control. This position will work Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. An updated collective bargaining agreement provides competitive salary and benefits. Base salary ranges from $26.10/hr. to $31.89/hr. for the 2026-27 school year.

Some travel between Greenwich High School and the Windrose School will be required.

Qualifications Profile
Professional assistants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, and a valid drivers license. Connecticut Security Officer Certification and a background in public safety is preferred. If not possessed at the time of application, Connecticut Security Officer Certification must be obtained prior to hire.
