Job Details

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of commercial construction safety experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-risk construction activities including:
  • Fall Protection
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Electrical Safety
  • Experience working with subcontractors and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare, or similar campus construction experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify corrective actions.
  • Enforce company, client, and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with fall protection, lockout/tagout, confined space, fire protection, electrical safety, and other high-risk work activities.
  • Lead hazard assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and contractor safety plans.
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain required environmental health and safety documentation and reporting.
  • Partner with project management teams, subcontractors, and client safety representatives to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Track safety metrics and recommend continuous process improvements.
