Job Requirements
Minimum OSHA 30 certification (Construction Industry preferred but will accept General Industry) but prefer advanced certification such at OSHA 500, OSHA 510, CSP, CHST, COSS, CSSS, CSST, etc.
Must have valid, up-to-date CPR / First Aid certification
Minimum 3 years of industrial or commercial construction field safety experience
Knowledge of safety and health procedures
Familiarity with OSHA 1910 and 1926 construction standards
Certification in basic rigging, trench and shore, confined space entry and rescue
Good analytical, human relations, communication, and training skills
Job Duties
Walking job site to ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Daily site audits
Permit writing
Accident investigation
Writing of safety policies and procedures
Daily toolbox talks
New hire site orientations
Ensure job site meets all federal, state and local safety regulations
