The Safety Technician is responsible for several activities, including waste consolidation, segregation, and preparation for shipping/disposal. The technician will perform facility inspections which include machine shops, production work areas, warehouse, and office workspaces; along with providing recommendations for corrective actions. The Technician will perform safety training on a variety of topics to employees and review the company's policies and procedures to ensure that the operational processes adhere to the internal guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations. The safety technician must have excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
