Job Description
Magnum Electric is seeking a qualified Safety Training Manager to lead the development and delivery of safety training programs across our project sites. The ideal individual has prior experience building and managing safety training programs within the construction sector
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive safety training programs and curricula for field and office employees
- Ensure all training content complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards
- Plan and deliver training sessions on topics such as fall protection, electrical safety, PPE use, hazard recognition, and emergency protocols
- Track and maintain accurate records of employee certifications, training completions, and renewal deadlines
- Evaluate training program effectiveness and update materials based on incident trends, audit findings, and industry best practices
- Partner with project managers, site safety staff, and HR to identify training needs across active projects
- Support investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify training gaps and develop corrective training strategies
- Prepare detailed reports on training metrics, compliance rates, and program performance for leadership
- Coordinate and mentor site safety trainers and coordinators to ensure consistent training delivery company-wide
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety training and adult learning methods

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
- Prior experience developing and delivering safety training programs, preferably in construction
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and program management skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Proficient in using computer software applications related to safety and training management
- Frequent travel to job sites required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- OSHA 500/501 Authorized Trainer certification, CHST, CSP, or similar credential
- Experience training on data center construction projects
- Background in construction, industrial, or electrical work
