Safety Training Specialist (Certified Forklift Trainer and Certified Crane Trainer)

The Safety Training Specialist plays a key role in ensuring employees are properly trained to work safely and confidently in a manufacturing environment.

This role focuses on delivering hands-on safety training, maintaining compliance records, and supporting a zero-injury workplace goal.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and coordinate safety training for Forklift, Crane, and Aerial Work Platform operations

• Conduct on-the-job training to ensure safe and compliant equipment use

• Maintain and update the safety training matrix and records

• Develop clear work instructions for safe lifting and rigging activities

• Act as the owner of Safe Lifting procedures and ensure compliance on the floor

• Support inspections and maintenance tracking for lifting equipment

• Assist in managing PPE and safety supplies

• Record and track safety data including hazard reports and JSAs

• Support investigations for safety incidents and provide recommendations

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and internal safety standards

• Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety practices

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Certified trainer for Forklift, Crane, and Aerial Work Platform operations

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations

• Experience working with heavy equipment and manufacturing operations

• Strong communication and training delivery skills

• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and safety documents

• Experience supporting incident investigations and safety improvements

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Ability to work full-time on-site in a fast-paced environment
