Safety Manager
Employee-focused General Contractor is seeking a Safety Manager to join a nationally recognized builder with more than 70+ years of success across commercial, healthcare, education, government, and mixed-use construction. Known for delivering complex concrete, steel, and metal-frame projects, the company has established itself as one of the region's most respected construction organizations through a commitment to safety, quality, and long-term client relationships.
Job Description
- Lead safety initiatives across multiple commercial construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Provide safety training, coaching, and mentorship to field personnel and project teams.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reporting, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance workplace safety performance.

The Successful Applicant
- OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 510 certifications required.
- Proven experience serving as a Safety Manager within the construction industry.
- Background supporting commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, mixed-use, government, or large-scale development projects.
- Experience working with larger general contractors or construction organizations preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with field teams and project stakeholders.
- Stable work history with strong tenure preferred.
