About the Role
Scorpion is looking for a Sales Account Executive to drive new business growth within the pest control industry through our AI powered marketing and technology platform. This is a true hunter role where you''ll build your own pipeline, develop relationships with business owners, and own the sales process from prospecting through close.
We''re looking for someone who understands the challenges of running a pest control business and can confidently have strategic conversations about lead generation, marketing ROI, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Whether you''ve sold software, route management, CRM, equipment, chemicals, distribution, or other business solutions to pest control companies, your industry expertise is what matters most.

Who you are and what you bring
Education
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
4+ years of full cycle B2B sales experience in a quota carrying role with responsibility for prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing new business.
2+ years in Pest Control Industry selling software, technology, marketing, equipment, chemicals, distribution, route management, CRM, or other business solutions directly to pest control companies. You understand the challenges business owners face and can speak their language.
Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas while independently developing and closing new client relationships. Experience earning promotions, sales recognition, or President''s Club is a plus.

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
The base salary is $60,000 (entry-level) - $79,000 (highly experienced). This position''s base salary + annual variable is $128,000 (entry-level) - $147,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.

Work Location & Flexibility
Scorpion supports a range of work arrangements, including in-office, hybrid, and remote roles. For positions designated as remote, employees who live within commuting distance of a Scorpion office may be asked to work from the office based on team needs, collaboration opportunities, or business priorities. Specific expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
