Hybrid Strategic Account Manager OpportunityDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue within existing and new customer accounts. Identify and pursue opportunities with OEMs across medical, industrial, defense, automotive, and related manufacturing sectors. Build long-term relationships with engineering, sourcing, supply chain, operations, and executive-level stakeholders. Lead customer discussions regarding plastic injection molding, tooling, assembly, and manufacturing capabilities. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop quotations, proposals, and customer solutions. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through production launch. Conduct customer visits, presentations, and business reviews. Monitor market activity, competitive trends, and customer requirements. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide forecasting to leadership. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The successful applicant will have 5+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience within plastic injection molding, plastics manufacturing, tooling, contract manufacturing, or a related industrial sector. A strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, engineered plastics, and manufacturing operations is required. Proven ability to develop relationships with OEM customers and grow strategic accounts. Experience selling custom manufactured products or engineered solutions. Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A self-motivated approach with a track record of exceeding revenue targets. Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent industry experience will be considered.
