If you're passionate about sales and ready to take on exciting challenges, we want you to be part of our journey towards transforming the industry!ResponsibilitiesDirect sales, promoting and selling the Buhler equipment and related equipment in a defined geographyDevelop and implement a sales plan for market and account coverageProspecting, identifying new customers and working with existing owners to ensure that Buhler machinery is top of mind for all new projectsManages and maintains assigned accounts and key accountsFosters customer relationshipsDevelops and establishes new accountsCustomer contact, collecting information, negotiating contractsCommunicates and participates in solving problems related to customer orders or concernsCollects market data (customer and competition) that show the need of the businesses and industries within the territoryGenerating enquiries, filling out internal RFQ's and presenting quotes and proposals to the customerClose sales to meet or exceed a sales quotaAttend trade shows as required, attend customer FATs, and travel to Europe as requiredAttend trainings in Europe as neededFile customer contact reports, call reports and other pertinent information in a CRMOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalentBackground in Food/Agriculture industry strongly preferredStrong mechanical/technical acumen desired5+ years selling capital goods to the food industryAttention to detailExcellent organization, interpersonal communication skills and relationship building skills to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities; able to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing internally and externallyProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong market and commercial awarenessAbility to build relationships internally and externally while working across time zones and culturesA sales leader who can inspire othersExperience in key account management and directing key account sales teamsInterpersonal - considers the needs and feelings of others and appropriately responds to different situationsMaintains discipline, recommending and administering corrective action according to company policy and proceduresAdvanced MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookOral and Written Communication - presents information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner; speaks clearly so that others can hear and understand what is being saidSpeaks and understands English, German and/or Spanish a plusDomestic and international travel 65% of time which may include long hours and non-traditional work schedules#J-18808-Ljbffr
